The tournament, organised by the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL), is taking place this weekend at the D.S. Senanayake College grounds in Colombo. The semi-finals and the finals will be played today. The Dialog Junior National Netball Championship 2023 targets players who are below the age of 20 from across the country and is one of the major tournaments conducted annually to identify talented players to train them to the next level. The tournament plays a pivotal role in selecting young players for the national youth team, which will participate in the upcoming Asian Youth Championship and the 2025 World Cup.

As part of its commitment to powering the Junior National Netball Championship, Dialog plans to live stream the semi-finals and the final through thepapare.com from 12.00p.m. onwards today. Additionally, the final match will be broadcast live from 4:30p.m. onwards on Dialog Television, channel number 63.

“The national team has improved in leaps and bounds since the last selection process to identify and select junior players to the national team,” said Lakshmi Victoria, President NFSL.
