Sithara Ltd awarded ‘Merit’ at National Quality Awards
View(s):Sithara Limited, a printing ink manufacturing company in Sri Lanka, was awarded a ‘Merit’ at the National Quality Awards (2022), conducted by the Sri Lanka Standards Institute.
This achievement is a result of the company’s commitment to quality and consistency in products and services offered to its clientele. Sithara Limited was founded in 1964 by businessman and strategist C E L Wickremesinghe to manufacture printing inks in Sri Lanka as a substitution to the imports that inundated the country from European and Japanese counterparts. From its inception Sithara Limited diligently focused on research and development, while consistently embracing newer technology.

The company has extended its product range inclusive of coatings which includes UV, water-based, barrier and, biodegradable inks and UV Flexo inks and flexo, rotogravure and offset inks.
