Inspector General of Police Deshabandu Tennakoon visited the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic yesterday, marking his first visit after he assumed duties as the 36th IGP on Thursday.

IGP Tennakoon also visited both the Malwathu and Asgiri Viharas and obtained blessings from chief incumbents Thibbatuwe Sri Sumangala Thera and Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thera respectively.

The IGP also met the Diyawadana Nilame of Dalada Maligawa Pradeep Nilanga Dela.
