Send in your writings for EWC competition
View(s):The English Writers Collective of Sri Lanka (EWC) has announced their Creative Writing Competition 2024. Entries from those above 18 years of age are invited under two sections: Prose and Poetry.
Unpublished short stories (up to 2500 words) and poems (32 lines or less) should be e-mailed on Word; font size 12, spacing 1.5 with phone number before April 30, 2024. Poetry to: sachithanandan@yahoo.com and adrian-shireen@gmail.com & Prose to: kksperera1@gmail.com and mtlebell@gmail.com
First, second and third prizes will be awarded in each category.
A submission fee of Rs 1,000 per three poems/ one prose entry should be transferred to The English Writers Collective of Sri Lanka, account number 0076463484 at the Bank of Ceylon, Kiribathgoda Branch. The bank transfer slip should be WhatsApped to 077 727 4483 with the title/s of work.
