Kung Fu Panda returns with a new mission

Following the immense success of animation action comedy series ‘Kung Fu Panda’, the fourth edition ‘Kung Fu Panda -4 is now being screened at theatres in Colombo and suburbs.
To the direction of Mike Mitchell and co-direction by Stephanie Ma Stine, the fourth instalment is produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures.
In the film, Po (Black), who must find and train his successor as the new Dragon Warrior, teams up with a fox bandit named Zhen (Awkwafina) to defeat evil sorceress ‘The Chameleon’ (Davis). However, when a powerful shape-shifting sorceress sets her eyes on his Staff of Wisdom, he suddenly realises he’s going to need some help. Teaming up with a quick-witted corsac fox, Po soon discovers that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.
The film features Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, Bryan Cranston, and Ian McShane reprising their roles from the previous films, with Awkwafina, Ke Huy Quan, Ronny Chieng, Lori Tan Chinn, and Viola Davis joining the cast as new characters.
Imported by Liberty Cinemas Ltd, ‘The Kung Fu Panda 4 “, released on March 8, is now being screened at Colombo City Centre, Kandy City Centre, Amity Lite – Maharagama, Liberty Cinemas – Kollupitiya and Kiribathgoda, Majestic Cinema-Colombo and a large number of other theatres around the country.
