Kandy in line for early win
Kandy positioned strongly against Jaffna on day three of the National Super League tournament at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Resuming at 348-7, Kandy reached 369, with Ahan Wickramasinghe adding just two runs to his overnight 147. Jaffna, trailing by 108 runs, closed at 252-8, leading by 144 with two wickets left.
Dambulla led against Colombo, having taken a first innings lead on day three at Sooriyawewa. Colombo, starting at 187-8, scored 210 in response to Dambulla’s total. Dambulla, at 226-7 in the second innings, concluded day three. The matches will continue today.
