The curriculum encourages exploring and progression on a creative path and is designed to provide young individuals with exposure in to a range of specialisms: Fashion & Textiles, Illustration, Fine Art, Graphic Communication : 3- Dimensional Design & Architecture, Cultural Exploration, Print Making, Interior Design, Photography & Film Making, Animation and comics, Motion Graphics, Product Design, Design thinking , Cultural Studies & Exploration in the field of Design, Innovation & Sustainability. A key aspect of the programme is exposing students to design thinking. Through interactive lectures & workshops conducted by foreign faculty and industry experts, students are encouraged to adopt new perspectives and methodologies in their design process, enabling them to tackle challenges with creativity and ingenuity.
Through hands-on activities and theoretical exploration, students delve into the core concepts of design thinking and practice, gaining a solid foundation in design fundamentals. Moreover, the programme facilitates the translation of ideas into presentations, honing students’ ability to articulate and visualise their creative vision effectively.
Furthermore, students have the opportunity to collaborate with experts from diverse backgrounds and disciplines within the design and fine art realms. Having completed AOD’s globally recognised Design Foundation Plus programme, students gain clarity on their desired career path, enabling them to directly join the BA (Hons) Degree Programmes awarded by Northumbria University, UK at AOD in Fashion & Textile Design, Fashion Design & Marketing, Interior Architecture, Graphics and Visual Communication & Motion Graphics and Animation or transit seamlessly to explore adventures in design world.
