The event will be conducted under theme, ‘Sustainability Sri Lanka’, and will be an opportunity for vetted small luxury boutique hotels to showcase their properties to producers of business to small luxury properties.

The details of the event were announced and discussed at a press conference held recently. Present at the head table were Nimal Martinuz (Chairman and Main Sponsor – Mosvold Boutique Hotels), Thisum Jayasuriya (The Chairman of Sri Lanka Conventions Bureau), Induni Wijeykoon (SriLankan Airlines) and Druvi Tara Gunasekara (Founder- Boutiques in Sri Lanka).

The Co-Sponsors of the b2b Luxury Connect are Aman, Malabar Hill, Aarunya Nature Resorts and Spa and JH Villa. Approximately 200+ small luxury properties are expected to be represented at this Travel Fair.

‘‘B2B Luxury Connect’ is about connecting luxury. Hence once again this year, foreign tour operators would be participating from UK, France, Germany, Dubai and India. This provides the participating boutique properties, a fantastic opportunity to showcase themselves directly to a selection of experienced travel professionals who are seasoned at generating business for small luxury boutique properties. In addition, the full spectrum of local agents will also be present, as usual’ said Druvi Gunasekara

‘Our exhibitors are handpicked for providing innovative, intimate and conscious services that enrich the lives of travellers. Each property provides unique experiences, handcrafted luxury and warm Sri Lankan hospitality. She said that “b2b Luxury Connect 2024” will provide an equal platform for all small luxury providers to showcase their properties to operators in Sri Lanka and from across the world.

‘Subsequent to the conclusion of b2b Luxury Connect 2024, the foreign tour operators attending the event will be taken on a complementary familiarisation tour of Sri Lanka, and enjoy some of the most exquisite small boutique experiences we have to offer for themselves. This will help them to promote Sri Lanka as a luxury destination with unique local experiences to their diverse clientele. Also, to further enhance the small luxury accommodation segment, the event will feature other authentic local products’
