Aqua Lite Cinema, a new film theatre with some of the modern technological advancements will be opened in Negombo today, March 31. The new theatre had been created converting former Andrew Cinema to a 221 seat fully air-conditioned theatre with Dolby Digital 3D Sound Technology.
Starting with the Hollywood blockbuster movie, “King Kong vs Godzilla” will be screened at 5.30 pm on March 31 parallel to the worldwide release. Aqua Lite Cinema is managed by Movie Works Pvt. Ltd, the owners of Lite Cinema chain which is currently operating 8 cinemas under Anura Jasenthuliyana.
