Thurstan take first inning lead
Thustan College took first innings lead over Lumbini MV at the end of first day’s play of the two day Under-19 Division I Tier ‘B’ Cricket Tournament semi-final encounter played at Campbell Place yesterday.
Batting first, Lumbini were bundled out for 74 runs with right-arm spinner Yovun Silpa doing the damage. Thurstan, though took a first innings lead, were bowled out for 117 runs before Lumbini ended the day on 57 for 1, batting for the second time. The match will end today.
