Forestry Institute Inamaluwa Centre to promote forestry education
View(s):In order to promote forestry education, the Cabinet approved a proposal to lend the Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka Forestry Institute and its Inamaluwa Field Training Centre to external parties to conduct short-term training programmes.
The training programmes and in-service training courses will be conducted for officers of government and non-government organisations using the resources of the Sri Lanka Forestry Institute.
The proposal for the additional revenue of income for the Government was proposed by Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation Minister Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi.
