Week after week, I was privileged to engage with distinguished experts in the field, including ambassadors, law professionals, and heads of international organizations. One of the most remarkable aspects of BIDTI was its commitment to providing a holistic education in diplomacy. Beyond traditional diplomatic studies, we delved into areas such as international law, current affairs, and the workings of international organizations. Each topic was meticulously crafted to offer a comprehensive understanding of the world’s complexities within a limited timeframe.

As we progressed through the programme, we realised that diplomats are indeed made, not born. BIDTI’s innovative approach to teaching combined theoretical knowledge with a practitioner’s perspective, equipping us with the skills and insights necessary to navigate the complexities of international relations.
My time at BIDTI was not just a period of academic growth but also a profound personal transformation. From a university student who often wished for lectures to be cancelled, I emerged as someone whose life revolved around the world of diplomacy.
