Applications called for English teachers
View(s):The Education Ministry has called for applications to fill English teacher vacancies in regional English support centres.
English teachers have been requested to forward their applications before June 20.
Candidates are expected to have not less than five years of minimum service period and a Bachelor of Education (English) Degree/Bachelor of Arts (Special) Degree in English, or first degree with English as a core subject, or not less than 15 years of service with National Teaching Diploma/government teacher training experience.
Applicants should be aged below 45 years.
Applications should be sent to the Director of Education, English and Foreign Languages branch at the Education Ministry in Battaramulla. Further instructions have been provided on the Ministry website.
