Flameback Eco Lodge wins Sustainable Tourism Award
View(s):Flameback Eco Lodge, of Mountain Boutiques Luxury Collection was awarded the ‘Good Travel Seal’ sustainable tourism award at the SME Sector Sustainable Tourism Awards ceremony held at BMICH on 29th May 2024. The event recognised and honoured SLTDA registered local tourism establishments for their commitment and contribution to enhancing sustainable tourism practices within Sri Lanka.
The awards were presented by UNDP Resident Representative Ms. Azusa Kubota, Minister for Tourism- Harin Fernando, Ambassadors from the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Ms. Abbie Trinidad, Regional Technical Advisor for Global BioFin. Dulani Guruge, Founder and Managing Director of Mountain Boutiques Luxury Collection receiving the award emphasised that this recognition comes as a further motivation to the group’s commitment to further enhance and excel in promoting sustainable tourism practices within its portfolio.
