The Major Club Limited Over Cricket Tournament, organised by Sri Lanka Cricket, is set to begin tomorrow with 18 teams participating. The teams are split into two groups of nine each. The defending champions SSC are in Group ‘A’ alongside Negombo CC, Bloomfield, NCC, Chilaw Marians, Ragama CC, Tamil Union, Panadura SC, and Ace Capital.  Group ‘B’ features Colts, Badureliya SC, CCC, Moors SC, Nugegoda S&WC, Police SC, Kandy Customs, BRC, and Kurunegala YCC.

Matches on Monday  are of Ace Capital CC vs Negombo CC at Dombagoda, Panadura SC vs Bloomfield at Panadura, Chilaw Marians vs Ragama CC at Galle, Badureliya SC vs Kurunegala YCC at Maggona, Moors SC vs Kandy Customs SC at Reid Avenue, Nugegoda S&WC vs Police SC at Moratuwa, and CCC vs BRC at SSC. NCC will face Tamil Union at home on Tuesday.

Matches scheduled for June 13 are — Ace Capital vs SSC at Dombagoda, Negombo CC vs Tamil Union at Katunayake, Ragama CC vs Bloomfield at Reid Avenue, Kurunegala YCC vs Colts at Kurunegala, Kandy Customs vs Badureliya SC at Maggona, Nugegoda S&WC vs Moors SC at Moratuwa. The venue for CCC vs Police SC is yet to be confirmed. NCC will host Chilaw Marians on June 14.
