Workshop on building women’s political capacity

Ahead of the upcoming local and general elections, the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES), will hold ‘Women in Power: A Workshop on Building Political Capacity’ for current and aspiring female politicians on June 13 at the ICES premises from 10 am to 5 pm. The project is funded by the European Union.

The workshop will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to engage with the electoral demographics effectively, adopting sustainable and environmentally friendly election practices, and confronting traditional stereotypes associated with female politicians.

The sessions will be facilitated by Manjula Gajanayaka and Vraie Cally Balthazaar.
