‘Out of this World’ venture for Yohani with Sean Paul and Kes

In a landmark milestone for the Sri Lankan entertainment industry, South Asian pop sensation ‘Yohani de Silva’ has announced the official collaboration with multi-platinum artiste Sean Paul and Kes to release the official Sri Lankan anthem ‘Out of this World’ for the ICC T20 World Cup. This collaboration marks Yohani’s first musical partnership with Sean Paul, following her successful recent collaboration with Romanian artiste; Edward Maya on the hit EDM track ‘Diamonds’.

The anthem, dedicated to Sri Lankan Cricket, is a vibrant and energetic track designed to rally fans and inspire the national team during the T20 World Cup. The remix version of ‘Out of this World’ by Yohani, Sean Paul and Kes was released on 7th June. Sean Paul and Kes’ ‘Out of This World’ already has over 1.5 million YouTube views, a few weeks after its official release.
The remixes add a fresh and unique spin to the original track and are featured in the cricketing powerhouse markets of Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan.
In India, the track features its most prominent rapper, Divine. He is internationally known for his collaborations with Stylo G and partnerships with Mass Appeal. Pakistan’s Bilal Saeed controls the second remix. Bilal Saeed is a highly acclaimed Pakistani artiste who showcases the country’s vibrant music scene. He is acclaimed for his Bollywood hits and chart-topping singles’ distinct Bilal Saeed style.
Sri Lanka’s Yohani captivates audiences with the third remix. She is one of the major music stars whose infectious music is prevalent in Sri Lanka, India, and beyond. Her collaboration with Sean Paul and Kes adds a refreshing twist to the anthem, blending Sri Lankan and Caribbean music influences.
This project underscores Yohani’s rising international influence and reinforces her status as a global entertainment icon, hailing from Sri Lanka. The collaboration follows a series of significant achievements for Yohani, including her appointment as a brand ambassador for luxury watchmaker; TAG Heuer and the release of her debut album ‘Kella’.
