Thanuka steers Ace Capital to fifth win

A quick-fire knock of 73 off 67 balls, inclusive of five boundaries and four sixes by Thanuka Dabare, helped Ace Capital to record a comfortable 5-wicket win over Bloomfield in their Major Club Limited Over Tournament match played at Reid Avenue yesterday.

The match curtailed to 27 overs due to a late start and Bloomfield, electing to bat first, made 158 for 7. Ace Capital raced to their winning target in the 24th over on the shoulders of Dabare, who helped his team record their fifth successive win in as many matches.
