Entries for Ceylon Masters International Championships close on July 2
The prestigious Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championships 2024 is set to take place from July 25 to 28 at the Mercantile Badminton Association in Colombo with a substantial prize pool of US$10,000 up for grabs. Organised by Ceylon Masters Badminton, this flagship event promises thrilling contests, attracting top masters badminton players from around the world.
Held according to Badminton World Federation (BWF) regulations, the championships unfolds with the preliminary rounds on July 25 and 26, followed by the quarter-finals and semi-finals on July 27, culminating in the finals on July 28 and the matches are scheduled to commence at 9:00am each day.
The championships offers competitions for diverse age categories, spanning from over 35 to over 75, and combined age categories for 100+, 110+, 120+, 130+ and 140o+ across men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events.
