HC thanks Dr Selva Pankaj for Public Learn Education Platform
View(s):High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom, Rohitha Bogollagama has expressed his appreciation to Dr Selva Pankaj, CEO and co-founder of Regent Group, a diverse educational group based in London for the launch of the ‘Public Learn Education Platform’.
The platform which guides users to free courses from the world’s top universities, was launched in Sri Lanka on June 13 under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
He expressed his appreciation during the Global Unity Dinner (GUD), an annual event spearheaded by Regent Group at The Dorchester Hotel on Wednesday.
The Dinner encourages unity, peace, and understanding across different nations and communities, and was hosted by Dr Pankaj.
The Regent Group offers education, skills and training development as well as consulting services to both the private and public sectors.
The High Commissioner shared the message of President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s initiatives to reach out to the overseas
Sri Lankan community to embrace the message of reconciliation, equality and equity.
Dr Pankaj highlighted that the way forward to engage with
Sri Lanka is through forgiveness.
