Gateway’s Adheesha wins Junior National Scrabble Championship

Adheesha Dissanayake of Gateway College continued his winning streak by claiming the Junior National Scrabble Championship, in the Under-20 age category. His teammates, Ilham Irshad was placed third and Imad Irshad was placed seventh. The third of the Irshad brothers, Inam won the Best Player’s Award for Under-12 category and was placed fourth in the Under-15 division. Tharun Priyadharshan also qualified to play for the final round.
