Kingswood College celebrated a hard-earned triumph yesterday as they defeated Thurstan College 31-17 in a gripping Dialog Schools Rugby League encounter at Bogambara Stadium. This victory marks Kingswood’s first win of the season against the low ranked, yet equally matched Thurstan side.

The match began with Kingswood taking an early lead, heading into halftime with a solid 12-0 advantage. Displaying a combination of skillful play and strategic manoeuvers, Kingswoodians maintained their momentum throughout the game.

Kingswood secured a bonus point with five tries and three conversions, amassing a total of 31 points by the final whistle. Thurstan, meanwhile, managed to score two converted tries and a penalty, totaling 17 points in their effort to challenge Kingswood’s dominance.
