Gayani’s Dance Studio opens in Moratuwa
View(s):Veteran Kandyan Dance teacher Gayani Karunaratna will open her latest dance studio at the Lawaseka Gardens Sports Academy on 1st August.
Groomed By the legendary Kulasiri Budawatta from the age of five, Gayani is a proud product of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya Colombo 7.
She did her higher studies in performing arts at the University of Visual and Performing Arts and started working as a professional dance teacher at Sujatha Vidyalaya – Nugegoda, Sussex College and St. Josaph’s Boys College, Nugegoda.
She later followed a programme on Buddhist Psychology and counseling at Kelaniya University.
