Marking the SAARC Film Day, Maldivian crime thriller ‘Vishka’ will be screened at 6.00 pm on July 31 at Liberty Cinema Colombo 3.
Organised by SAARC Cultural Centre, this 2017 film is directed by Ravee Farooq and produced by Aishath Rishmy under Yaaraa Productions.
Starring Farooq, Rishmy and Ahmed Saeed in pivotal roles, the movie revolves around Vishka and the psychological war of good and evil she faces.
A single-minded woman falls blindly in love with a man with full of evil. She first thinks her love could change him, but she slowly begins to realise the grave mistake she has made. As she becomes more and entrapped and lured deeper into his dangerous world where her only chance of escape is – death. Entrance for the movie is free of charge and on first come first served basis. The orgnisers request to bring the flyer for easy access.
