Budo Sri Lanka, at the invitation extended by Hilton Colombo Residence, demonstrated the Japanese-Samurai Martial Arts Techniques. The Budo Sri Lanka’s founder Sensei Keerthi Wickramarathne along with his students enlightened the audience, on Japanese history and how “budo” evolved in Japanese Martial Arts fighting techniques along with the Samurai code of conduct.

In addition to the comprehensive martial arts training techniques taught at Budo Sri Lanka dojo, the training curriculum goes beyond physical skills by creating awareness amongst the students about the rich heritage of Japanese-Samurai teachings. This includes an in-depth understanding of the principles and philosophies of Japanese-Samurai Martial Arts.

The curriculum also emphasizes how these teachings are intricately intertwined with the concept of Budo, which not only focuses on martial arts techniques but also on the development of character, ethical conduct, and a disciplined mind.
