Z-score to be announced next month

The University Grants Commission (UGC) will announce the Z-Score cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 academic year at the end of next month, its Chairman Prof Sampath Amaratunga said.

The scores will pertain to university study courses for each district.

The student registration process will commenced following the release of the cut-off scores.

Information regarding the minimum Z-Score can be accessed via newspapers, the official UGC website and UGC Public Relations Office.

Over 85,000 applications have been submitted online. The UGC expects to enroll 43,000 undergraduates in State universities, Prof Amaratunga said.
