Siyatha Mr World Sri Lanka Megha Sooriyarachchi
It was their night! Anudi Gunasekera and Megha Sooriyarachchi were crowned the Siyatha Miss World Sri Lanka and Siyatha Mr World Sri Lanka amidst much celebration at the grand pageant held at the Colombo Hilton on Monday night. The pageant was presented by Modelshop in association with Kiss FM and Siyatha TV.
It was the culmination of weeks of intense training and mini pageants as the contestants battled for the honours and the chance to represent Sri Lanka on the world stage.
Shanella Weerasinghe was 1st Runner Up and Ayesha Gamage 2nd Runner Up in the Miss World Sri Lanka contest while the 1st Runner Up for Mr World Sri Lanka was Isanka Amarasinghe with Chethan Abhishek being adjudged 2nd Runner Up.
The new Miss World Sri Lanka was crowned by the Siyatha Miss World Sri Lanka 2023 Kavindi Nethmini.
A familiar face in the modelling scene, Anudi is deeply passionate about women’s empowerment. A popular actor and film director Mr World Sri Lanka Megha’s new film Mandara is in cinemas now.
