Hasaranga doubtful for remaining ODIs?
Sri Lanka allrounder Wanindu Hasaranga is likely to miss the remainder of the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series against India due to an injury according to team sources. According to sources Hasaranga has sustained a hamstring injury following Friday’s first ODI, where he picked three wickets during the thrilling game that ended in a tie.
Hasaranga claimed the wickets of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav, but looked uncomfortable during his latter spell, before ending with figures of 3 for 58. Sri Lanka has not confirmed the development, but it is reliably heard that Jeffrey Vandersay is likely to take Hasaranga’s place in the squad. The second ODI between Sri Lanka and India will be played today at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium today.
