Marlar Than Htaik was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Sri Lanka based in Colombo. She presented credentials to President
Ranil Wickremesinghe on August 21, at the President’s House, Colombo.
Trinh Thi Tam was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Sri Lanka based in Colombo. She too presented credentials.
Percy Patson Chanda was appointed High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Sri Lanka based in New Delhi. He presented credentials to President Wickremesinghe, on the same day.
