The results of the 2023 (2024) GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination are expected to be released within the next two weeks, Education Minister Dr Susil Premajayantha said.

A total 452,979 applicants sat for the Exam from May 6-15, Examinations Department Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara said.

Of this 387,648 were school candidates, while 65,331 were private applicants.

Plans have been made for the 2024 O/L Exam to be held in January and February of 2025, Minister Premajayantha added. -NA
