Musaeus clinch WP chess titles
View(s):Musaeus College clinched the Western Province Under-20 and Under-17 titles of the National Schools Chess Championship 2024, organised by the Ministry of Education. Museaus was ranked top in the Under-20 segment, as they emerged champions ahead of Devi Balika Vidyalaya and Visakha Vidyalaya, who finished at second and third positions respectively.
In the Under-17 segment, Musaeus ranked top, emerging champions and pushing down Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya to second and Visakha Vidyalaya to third positions.
