The Cabinet this week endorsed a programme aimed at equipping 7,500 teachers with advanced skills in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), reflecting the nation’s commitment to digital transformation.

According to a project proposal presented by the Skills College of Technology (SCOT CAMPUS), a pilot project was successfully carried out in an institution specialising in practical courses such as information technology, mechatronics, and robotics.

The Cabinet approved the proposal presented by President Ranil Wickemesinghe in his capacity as Minister of Technology.
