Royal Institute Nursery Graduation 2024
View(s):The annual Nursery Graduation ceremony of Royal Institute International School was held for the third consecutive year on 22nd August 2024 at the Royal Institute International Auditorium, where certificates were awarded to our little graduates who had successfully completed their nursery education. The distinguished Chairman, Mr. G. T. Bandara, and Academic Director, Dr. Nirodha Bandara, along with the respective Principals, Vice Principals and parents of the nursery graduates graced the occasion with their presence and expressed their steadfast support for these flourishing learners. Amidst the large audience of adults, two nursery graduates themselves, confidently delivered the welcome speech and vote of thanks on stage, showcasing the iconic qualities that RI Nursery graduates have within them.
The guest speaker, Ms. Piumi Virajika, is an alumna of Royal Institute Nursery who had completed her studies at this school up until Advanced Levels, and is now serving as an English Language teacher at Royal Institute itself. She brought her nursery book along with her and reminisced the fond memories she has of the nursery. Ms. Piumi also went on to speak about how her nursery teachers identified her talents, how the school provided her with countless opportunities to build up her identity and how she now caters to her students as a dutiful teacher. It was a heart-warming speech that touched the hearts of many – including her very own teachers who still serve at the Royal Institute Nursery.
It was an event which marked a remarkable significance in the lives of the nursery graduates, which motivated them in paving the path for a smooth transition to their primary education. Royal Institute Nursery is bound to make learning a memorable experience to their nursery students and has promised to create a lasting impression on their lives by ending their nursery years on a high note – with the significant celebration of their graduation at the end of their academic calendar each year.
