Dulanya Sethuli and Hirun Prathibash brought honour to their school, Royal Institute International School, Gampaha, at the Gampaha Zonal Athletics Championship 2024, held at the Gampaha Sri Bodhi ground, which was a thrilling and highly competitive event, showcasing the talents of young athletes from across the region.
Hirun Prathibash
Among the standout performers were Dulanya Sethuli and Hirun Prathibash from Royal Institute International School, Gampaha, who each secured silver medals in their respective events. Dulanya claimed the silver medal in the Under-14 Girls Shot Put event while Hirun also secured a silver medal in the Under-12 Boy’s Long Jump event. Their impressive performances earned them well-deserved spots in the upcoming Western Province
Athletics Championship.
