Lyceum Nuwara Eliya students shine at Central Province Athletic Meet 2024
View(s):The Central Province Athletic Meet was held at Bernard Aluvihare Stadium, and three talented students from Lyceum International School, Nuwara Eliya stood out with remarkable performances.
T. Anuhas Darmasena set a new meet record in the 200m, securing first place with a time of 22.2 seconds. He also finished second in the 100m with an impressive time of 11.1 seconds, surpassing the previous record.
Sachintha Weerasinghe earned second place in the long jump, achieving a distance of 5.91 metres, while Kinoja Kumarasamy took third place in the same event with a distance of 4.90 metres. These achievements highlight the dedication and hard work of Lyceum Nuwara Eliya athletes, making their school proud.
