Yasmin Vavrova of Slovakia and Miguel Igulpas of Philippines emerged singles champions in the girls and boys categories of the ITF World Junior J60 Tennis Tournament finals played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday. Yasmin overcame Priyanka Rana of USA while Miguel got the better of Viraj Gohil of India with the pair winning their matches with ease by two sets to nil.

The ITF World Junior J60 Tennis Tournament which began on September 2 saw the participation of players from over 15 countries.

  •   Singles Final:

Girls: Yasmin Vavrova (Slovakia)beat Priyanka Rana (USA) 2-0 (6/1, 6/4).

Boys: Miguel Iglupas (Phillipines) beat Viraj Gohil (India) 2-0 (6/3, 6/4).
