‘Balloth Ekka Baa-2’ Political comedy to help cancer patients

Ravindra Ariyarathne’s popular political comedy play, ‘Balloth Ekka Baa-2’ will go on the boards at 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm on September 17 at the Auditorium of St. Joseph’s College Colombo 10.

The play is organised for a charity project initiated by Sisters of Providence community at Pitakotte and all aids are to be directed to build a shelter for male destitute cancer patients named “Thalitha Cum Providence House of Welcome Patients with Cancer”. Providence Sisters has been looking after female cancer patients who are abandoned by their families and loved ones. The Catholic nuns are offering the comfort, care and dignity the cancer patients deserve in their time of need.

The cast of the ‘Balloth Ekka Baa-2’ include Gihan Fernando, Chamila Pieris, Ajith Lokuge, Sarath Karunarathne,
Chinthaka Pieris and Susanga Kahandawala Arachchi Music composed by Anthony Surendra, Balloth ekka baa-2 is produced by Jude Srimal. Tickets are now available at the Theatre gate.
