‘Memories of Milton Mallawarachchi’
View(s):Following the successful musical events staged during the last year and by the popular demand, ‘Memories of Milton Mallawarachchi’ Concert will come alive again at Bishops College Auditorium on Sunday 6th October starting at 7.00 pm.
Milton Mallwarachchi is one of most popular singers Sri Lanka has produced and has sung in excess of 800 songs. Most of his songs are still played regularly on the radio and on various other web based platforms and could be heard at most social events. His untimely death in 1998 was a great loss to the local music industry.
The concert happening on the October 6th will be part 2 of the popular show and will bring together his son Ranil and grandson Pavan on stage performing the very best of the legendary singer. They have been flown down from Melbourne especially for this concert. Music for the show will be provided by popular band Vison. Compere will be Kelum Srimal.
