Sam Chandrasinghe Tournament to boost football skills at Ananda
Ananda College, Colombo will hold the Sam Chandrasinghe Football Tournament on September 19 at the school’s sports grounds in Rajagiriya. The tournament, designed to provide a platform for young students to showcase and improve their football abilities, will include participants from all age groups within the school. The day-long event will see a series of matches, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their sportsmanship, teamwork, and passion for football.
All participating students will receive trophies, medals, and certificates, all funded by Sam Chandrasinghe, the sponsor of the tournament, who is the founder of the UK-based fast food chain Sam’s Chicken, and an alumni of Ananda.
