After completing a foundation programme at ANC (American National College) in Sri Lanka, you can transfer directly to a QUT diploma or bachelor’s degree, based on your results.
QUT’s School of Business is the first in Australia to achieve triple international accreditation, which means you’ll graduate with a high-quality, internationally recognised business degree. Our Bachelor of Business has eleven different majors including finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, management and more. QUT is the third best business school in Australia for postgraduate business studies according to the Australian Financial Review in 2024.
After completing a Higher National Diploma in Business Management with our partner institution ICBT (International College of Business and Technology), you can enter the second year of QUT’s Bachelor of Business.
QUT’s architecture and built environment courses are in the top 100 globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024. Our hands-on curriculum with cutting-edge industry equipment ensures you can step into your career with confidence. One year of studying a Higher National Diploma in Interior Architecture at NIBM (National Institute of Business Management) gains you credit towards QUT’s Bachelor of Built Environment (Honours), majoring in interior design.
Our Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) has nine different majors, with a flexible course structure that allows you to specialise in up to three different engineering disciplines and complete internships with leading industry partners such as BMW. If you study a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with our partner institution SLIIT (Sri Lankan Institute of Information Technology), you can transfer to QUT’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and major in civil, mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
Our postgraduate engineering degrees can advance your career in fields such as robotics and artificial intelligence, renewable energy, data analytics and sustainable infrastructure. We also offer a range of new vertical double degrees, where you can study a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree to fast-track your pathway to a specialised engineering career.
QUT is first in Australia and nineteenth in the world for Communication and Media Studies, and third in Australia and top-100 globally for Design (QS World Rankings by Subject 2024). Our hands-on creative arts courses are known for the innovative work-integrated learning program and modern approach to creative careers.
At NIBM (National Institute of Business Management), you can study diplomas or advanced diplomas as a pathway into QUT’s Bachelor of Creative Industries, our Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and Screen), our Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design) or our Bachelor of Communication.
We offer scholarships to help you make your goals a reality. If you meet the minimum academic standards and are studying an eligible course, our International Merit Scholarship covers 25% of your tuition fees for the full duration of your program, while our Real World Scholarship covers 20% of your tuition fees for the first two semesters of your degree.
We also have two major scholarships for QUT College to cover part of your tuition fees for pathway programmes and English language programmes. We provide equity scholarships and bursaries to help cover living expenses for students from low-income backgrounds who are struggling financially.
