Jayewardenepura University offers microbiological testing services
View(s):The Department of Microbiology of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, is offering microbiological testing services, including antibiotic sensitivity testing.
The available services include urine culture and ABST (Rs 1,500), fungal studies (Rs 2,500), cultures other than urine (Rs 2,500) and acid-fast bacilli – AFB (Rs 750).
Testing is conducted from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, with samples collected at the Department of Microbiology and Family Practice Centre. The lab is closed on weekends and public holidays. Reports can be accessed online or through WhatsApp.
