Lankan students win gold at 6th Global Challenge Robotic Competition in Greece

Student group returning to BIA upon winning gold at the 6th Global Challenge Robotic Competition.
Five students who won gold at the 6th Global Challenge Robotic Competition in Greece representing Sri Lanka were received at the Bandaranaike International Airport on Monday.
The competition took place in Athens from September 26-29 with the participation of 193 countries and over 100 participants.
The students who secured first through their engineering innovation were followed by Columbia and India.
The team comprised Raveen Akuretiyawa, Tharul Senanayake, Heveen Ramachandra, Supul Baddegama and Malik Radigal.
The student group emerged sixth in the overall competition.
