Delma gets SLS certification for Calin Baby products
View(s):Delma Lanka Company received the SLS certification for Calin Baby soap products, the company announced recently. At a press conference presided over by Lelwala G. Piyananda, the founder of Delma Lanka Company, Umesh Godakanda, the Managing Director and Chaturika Jayasekara, Director held on October 1, on World Children’s Day, Delma introduced a new line of soap products featuring 10 new animal figures, including Calin Baby, Almond, Floral, and Kohomba soaps, and 15 animal shapes.
“All products have SLS quality certificates and are now available for purchase at Rs. 90.00, a company media release said. President’s Councel Dr. Harsha Cabral and Senior Advocate, Sunil Watagala were the chief guests at this event, the release said.
Delma’s trade representatives, trade partners and many distinguished guests including artists also participated in this event, the release said.
Maternal and Child Health Adviser, Shyamali Pathirage, President’s Councel Dr. Harsha Cabral and Senior Attorney Sunil Vetagala addressed the ceremony.
Calin Baby Soap currently holds SLS Certified (Quality Certificate from Sri Lanka Standards Institute), ISO 9001: 2015, ISO GMP 22716: 2007 and is the only International Fragrance Association approved perfumes are used by the company. The release said that Calin is ISO EMS 14001 Certified and HACCP Certified while its products’ TFM percentage is more than 78 per cent.
