Eastern University 28th General Convocation sees 2,340 pass out The 28th Annual General Convocation of the Eastern University was held on October 5 and 6 at the Sel-laiyah Memorial Hall of the university under the leadership of Chancellor Professor M Selvarajah. Consul General of the Indian Consulate in Jaffna S Sai Murali was chief guest at the event. A total of 2,340 internal, external, graduate and postgraduate degrees were awarded during the two-day convocation ceremony. During the first session, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Science Education, Master of Science in Agriculture, Master of Education, Master of Arts, Master of Business Administration, Master of Development Economics, and Bachelor of Science degrees (Medicine, Dentistry), Special Physiological Scientist, Physiological Scientist, Special Agricultural Scientist, Agricultural Scientist) degrees were awarded.
