Old Anandians 75-80 group organise medical camp
View(s):The Old Anandians 75-80 Group, along with the Old Anandians Medical Guild, and the Old Anandians 2012 will be conducting the annual medical camp for past and present teachers of Ananda College.
The event will be conducted at the college premises, Colombo 10 on October 20.
The medical camp is the oldest event of this nature and is being conducted for the 28th consecutive year (but for two years due to the pandemic). Over the years it has grown to be not only the oldest but the biggest event of this nature.
During the course of the medical camp, over 350 past and present teachers will be able to avail the services of over 80 medical practitioners. The contingent of medical practitioners will include doctors, specialists and consultants who are all Old Anandians.
The medical camp will have laboratory tests, blood tests, ECG, dental and eye clinics, screening for cancer, physiotherapy and an ayurveda clinic.
The organisers consider this event a way of paying back with gratitude to the teachers who imparted knowledge to guide them to what they are today.
The Old Anandians invite past and present teachers to visit the medical camp on the 20th from 8.30 am onwards.
