Hilton Colombo Oktoberfest is back

The ever popular annual ‘Oktoberfest’ will come alive at the Hilton Colombo from 24 October to 2nd November 2024.
‘Hilton Oktoberfest’, one of the pioneering festivals continues to celebrate since 1993, will adore tradition for locals and visitors alike, promises an authentic Bavarian experience right in the heart of Colombo.
Guests are welcome to enjoy a lavish buffet featuring Bavarian specialities such as freshly baked Pretzels, Munich Supper Plate, German Bread Loaves, Thuringian Pork Sausage, brew-battered Fried Fish with Pickled Mayonnaise, Baked Farmers’ Meat Loaf with German Mustard, traditional Swabian Pasta, and Crumbed Mini Pork Schnitzel.
The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by the lively tunes of the Oompah Band from Bavaria and a spirited brew-drinking competition, ensuring an unforgettable night of celebration.
‘We are incredibly excited to host our 31st Oktoberfest celebration’ said Kapila Mohotti, Director of Food and Beverage at Hilton Colombo, popularly known as DJ Kapila in the 80s and 90s era. ‘This event has become a highlight for the city, providing an immersive Bavarian experience paired with our signature Hilton hospitality’ he added.
The Oktoberfest celebration will take place at the Sports Centre Arena from 7:00pm to midnight on Sundays through Thursdays and 7:00pm to 1:00am on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are priced at Rs. 6,888/- nett per person (Sunday to Thursday) and Rs. 7,388/- nett (Friday and Saturday), with VIP tickets available at Rs. 8,988/- nett.

Meanwhile ‘Thai Food Feast’ is now being held at the Hilton Colombo Residences till Sunday, October 20.
This exclusive event will be led by celebrated chefs Ms. Netsarin Pimtes and Mr. Aekkapon Congchum (Mister Egg) from DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort, who showcase their expertise in authentic Thai cuisine. Menu highlights include Tom Yum Goong Soup, Pad Thai Goong, Mango Salad with Shrimp, Thai Red Prawn Curry, and Steamed Seabass Fish Fillet.
Chef Netsarin Pimtes, a gold award winner at the Andaman Tourism Networking 2023, will present her acclaimed dishes, while Chef Aekkapon Congchum, recognised for his talents at the Thailand F&B Masters Culinary Hotel Round 2022, will add his signature flavours to the feast. The event also offers a free flow of house-special cocktails and mocktails to complement the vibrant dishes.
