Oasis tour sells out
The Oasis Live 2025 tour of North America sold out within hours on October 4. The band announced nine shows in North America, covering Canada, the US and Mexico. The concerts start in Toronto, Canada on August 25 and end in Mexico City on September 13. Oasis also announced the Live 2025 tour to Australia with two concerts, one in Melbourne on October 31 and the other in Sydney on November 1. Tickets will be on sale on October 15.
The Gallagher brothers reunited recently to announce their first tour in the UK and Ireland which will cover 19 dates across the two nations. There are great expectations from fans in Europe of shows on the Continent too. Oasis split up while on tour in Paris in 2008.
Australian Open music show
The Australian Open Tennis 2025 also known as AO is to stage a music show at the tournament which takes place from January 6-26. The live performances will be held at the John Cain Arena in Melbourne from January 23-25. Benson Boone who won the Best Alternative Video at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year will perform on January 23, while Canadian Grammy Award winning DJ and producer Kaytranada will take the stage on January 24. DJ and producer Armand Van Helden and singer Kesha will perform on the 25th.
Olivia Rodrigo’s concert profits to charity
Pop singer Olivia Rodrigo has donated the net profits from her concert in the Philippine capital Manila on October 5 to the charity Jhpiego that works on improving women’s health issues. She also visited the charity office.
The 21-year-old multi-award winning artist was in Manila as part of her Guts World Tour. The singer who identifies herself as Filipino-American burst on to the global music scene in 2021 when her song ‘Driver’s License’ topped the charts.
