“Leadership”, a word that is heard around every corner, especially in today’s world where the actions and decisions of leaders have a profound impact globally. Recognising the need for responsible leadership, AIESEC, the world’s largest youth-led organization, has been dedicated to nurturing value-driven leaders since 1948. Through cross-cultural exchanges, AIESEC empowers young people to make inclusive and informed decisions, ultimately working toward a better world.
In line with this mission, AIESEC in Sri Lanka is hosting Transcend 2024 powered by Ceylinco Life, the annual leadership development conference that will be held from October 25th to 27th at Carolina Beach Resort. The event will bring together over 300 AIESEC members from 10 universities across the country. This three-day conference consists of skill development workshops, networking sessions, and an outbound bound training, all designed to enhance members’ understanding of leadership. The conference also features the annual award ceremony of AIESEC in Sri Lanka – The NLDS 2024 Gala Night, where the effort and contribution of the members will be appreciated in a grand night. The Sunday Times – Educational Times is proudly partnering as a media partner for the event.
Cross-cultural exchanges of AIESEC, where participants can work on social and community projects around the world, have played a key role in connecting the world and helping young people unlock their potential, pushing them to break boundaries and grow into leaders. The National Leadership Development Seminar has been the stepping stone for many to kick off that leadership journey. This year, AIESEC hopes to continue motivating and empowering young minds to make a positive impact on the world.
