The Election Commission of Sri Lanka (ECSL) received two awards at the 26th National ICT Awards- NBQSA 2024.

The ECSL’s E-Services earned two prestigious awards, one for the Most Outstanding ICT Achievement in the Public Sector and a Silver award in the Digital Government category under public sector and Government. Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake attended the event.

During the last Presidential Election, ECSL’s E-Services played a crucial role, providing essential information and accurate details promptly to anyone in need. The system ensured that vital election-related data was easily accessible and available in real-time.

The awards ceremony was organised by the NBQSA, and since 2003, NBQSA winners have been nominated by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT’s Sri Lanka Section, to represent the country at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards.
