Rain interrupted day two of the Under-19 Inter-School matches across the island, preventing play during the post-lunch and tea sessions. In the match between Ananda College and St. Anne’s College, Kurunegala, no play was possible, but St. Anne’s claimed a narrow first innings victory.

Meanwhile, the contest between St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota and Thurstan College ended in a draw. Karandeniya Central, however, managed to outpace the rain, securing an outright victory by 82 runs against Anuradhapura Central at Karandeniya. St. Thomas’ College, Matale and St. Joseph’s College, Wattala recorded first innings wins over Siri Piyaratana Central, Padukka and Loyola College Kochchikade, respectively.
